WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT TO HAVE 8 HOURS OF SLEEP

To be honest I've underestimated a good nights sleep for almost my entire life.
Going through faces of insomnia as well as optimism that I'll be okay with just a few hours of sleep has been a struggle for me my whole life.
Also... I'm addicted to snoozing haha. I snooze at least for an hour everyday.
It wasn't until I met my recent partner that I truly pulled myself together to understand the importance of 8 hour sleep.
He was annoyed with me about my snoozing addiction as well as hearing me say everyday... tomorrow I really need wake up SUPER EARLY and then I end up sleeping in and feeling like I wake up with 'a failure' first thing in the morning.
Feeling like I've lost time and I'm running behind on my daily schedule.
Then I changed the conversation with myself. If I want to get up early, I go to bed early.
Always prioritizing a good nights sleep of 8 hours.
This might sound like a simple thing to do to some people but it's been a very hard struggle for me. Now I feel happier, less stressed and more productive.
For those people who are still struggling with this I recommend this app called 'Sleep Cycle'. It helps keep track of your sleeping cycle as well as record you talking in your sleep, makes up for a lot of laughs as well as intense realizations about your dreams.
On that note I'm gonna go to bed now. I need to wake up SUPER EARLY :)
